Where to find cheap and good bicycles
Just learnt how to cycle and cannot wait to purchase your very first bicycle? In this non-exhaustive list, we provide you with the top 5 bicycle shops in Singapore according to our coaches’ opinions!
1. Decathlon
Apparently, Decathlon obtains their products from the same factories that produce products for big brands like Nike & Adidas. The reason why Decathlon can price them at cheap & affordable prices holds true to their mission statement – to bring sports to the everyday person!
We have tried and tested Decathlon bikes on our own and can attest that they hold true to their promise – quality and durable bikes at cheap, decent prices. In their biggest outlet, the Decathlon Singapore Lab, you can test ride the bicycle before purchase to make sure that it is the right fit and comfort level for yourself, or your children.
Different bikes of different price ranges from foldables to mountain bikes and road bikes are available for purchase, so that consumers are spoilt for choice.
Additionally, you can purchase bike accessories to complement your cycling journey – bells, bike pumps etc. going from $5 to $30.
Location: Several outlets including Joo Koon, Bedok, but the one at Stadium Boulevard is the biggest and the best!

Aleoca sounds like an Italian brand and have motifs along with their brand logo reminiscent of a luxury Italian car brand, but it really is a born-and-bred Singaporean brand started in 1996.
If you want a basic bicycle for short, leisure rides or for basic commuting, Aleoca is the brand to go to!
Good value and functional enough for you to get around your neighborhood, Aleoca offers children bicycles starting at $50, and adult bicycles starting at $100 as seen at Giant Supermarkets.
Location: Selected Fairprice Xtra / Giant Hypermarkets, 202 Bedok South Ave 1, #03-11 (Aleoca showroom), Lazada or Aleoca website
